Set up your first switch. If you stop checking in, your encrypted keys get delivered to the people you choose.
Encrypt your seed phrase
Enter the seed phrase (or any secret) you want to pass on. It will be encrypted in your browser before being stored. We never see the plaintext.
Seed phrase, private key, recovery code, passwords, or any text you want passed on.
Your recipients will need this password to decrypt. Share it with them separately (in person, on paper, etc). Not by email.
Set your check-in schedule
How often should we expect to hear from you? If you miss a check-in, a grace period starts. After the grace period, your recipients get notified.
You'll get an email reminder a few days before each deadline.
Extra time after a missed check-in before release.
Who should receive your keys?
Add one or more people who should receive your encrypted data if the switch triggers. They'll get an email with the encrypted file and instructions. They still need the password you set in step 1.
Review and activate
Everything look right? Once activated, you'll need to check in every days. If you miss a check-in plus the -day grace period, your recipients receive the encrypted data.

Remember: Share the encryption password with your recipients separately. Without it, the encrypted data is useless. Write it on paper, tell them in person, or store it in a safe they have access to.
